No — anti-damp paint is only a temporary fix and does not solve the underlying problem. The paint holds back the moisture pressure for a while, but blistering and flaking soon start again. For a permanent solution, the source of the damp must first be cut off with DampStop injection, and the surface then coated with HydroFix plaster.
