Damp Box
The Damp Box (Nem Kutusu) is a drying device that uses a very-low-frequency electromagnetic wave to carry capillary moisture in the wall back into the ground. Its job is to carry water reaching the building's foundations and rising in the columns back into the ground. It uses no chemicals and needs no breaking open; it runs plugged into a socket, consumes 3–5 watts and covers about 900 m². It is neither a dehumidifier nor an injection. For rising damp in the wall elements (brick, aerated concrete, concrete block), it is used together with DampStop and HydroFix as the triple system.
