First, check whether there is soil behind the wall. In basement, semi-basement and below-ground walls, water gets in actively from outside; here DampStop injection is not the solution, and HydroFix damp-proofing plaster only keeps the problem out of sight for a while. To stop moisture and water in a basement, works such as polyurethane (PU) injection (E101 Pur In) and crystalline waterproofing (N102 Crystal 2K) are needed; these are planned on the basis of an expert assessment. On entrance and ground-floor walls with no contact with the soil, DampStop injection and HydroFix damp-proofing plaster are applied, together with the Damp Box (Nem Kutusu) if needed (the triple system).
