Fine-section surface repair mortar
A cement-based, single-component repair mortar developed for fine-section repairs on wall and ceiling surfaces. R101 is for structural repair — where a load-bearing section has to be rebuilt. R102 is for surface repair: it brings walls and ceilings that have lost their evenness, but not their section, back to a state ready for waterproofing. When in doubt, use R101 on load-bearing elements.

R101 is for structural repair — section loss, tie-rod holes, deep cavities. R102 is for surface repair — levelling walls and ceilings, coving, fine patching. When in doubt, use R101 on load-bearing elements.
Yes. Its thixotropic structure keeps it from sagging on ceilings. However, the risk of sagging grows with thickness, so reduce the coat thickness overhead.
Yes. Dry, absorbent concrete draws the mixing water out; adhesion is lost and the surface cracks. Dampen the surface before application, but leave no standing water.
25 kg mortar : 6 kg water. Mixing with too much water reduces strength and watertightness and causes shrinkage cracks.
