Frequently Asked Questions

Can HydroFix be applied to damp surfaces?

Yes, HydroFix is specifically designed to be applied to damp surfaces. A matt-damp surface actually improves adhesion performance. However, on surfaces with active water flow, a water-stopping treatment must be carried out first.

How many coats are required?

Generally 2-3 coats are recommended. Each coat is applied at a thickness of 2-5 mm. The waiting time between coats is 4-6 hours.

Can it be painted over?

Yes, once HydroFix has fully cured (minimum 7 days), any type of paint or decorative coating can be applied over it.
