HydroFix is a two-component damp-proofing plaster consisting of a 10 kg powder component and a 100 ml liquid additive. It blocks capillary water passage, preventing rising damp from reaching the wall surface; its microporous, vapour-permeable structure allows the wall to breathe.
On absorbent mineral surfaces such as brick, exposed concrete, plaster/render, pumice blocks and aerated concrete. Not for use on gypsum, paint, ceramic, plastic, metal or glass surfaces.

It can be used on absorbent mineral surfaces such as brick, exposed concrete, plaster/render, pumice blocks and aerated concrete. It is not used on gypsum, paint, ceramic, plastic, metal or glass surfaces — these layers must first be completely removed to expose the mineral substrate.
Yes, but the surface must be left to dry completely for at least 7 days. Once drying is complete, prime the surface and use breathable (water-vapour-permeable) paints. Plastic-based or oil paints are not recommended.
In a single coat, 10 kg covers approximately 4.5–5 m²; in two coats, approximately 2–2.5 m². Consumption may vary depending on the absorbency and evenness of the surface.

No. This product is for vertical surfaces (walls) only. For floor applications a different system must be used (epoxy, polyurethane, mineral floor coatings, etc.).
Yes. During application the ambient temperature must be between +5°C and +30°C. Do not apply in extreme heat (under direct sun) or in very cold weather with a risk of frost.
This problem usually results from mixing with too much water or applying too thin a coat. Use water and additive in the specified proportions, and keep the coat thickness at a minimum of 5 mm.
When applied correctly, it blocks capillary water passage and prevents damp from reaching the wall surface. However, if there is negative-side water pressure, supporting it with injection or crystalline systems is recommended.
Yes. While being waterproof, the product has a microporous structure that allows vapour to pass through. This lets the moisture inside the wall evaporate and escape.
Yes. The liquid component loses its function after freezing and thawing. The liquid additive must therefore always be stored at 5–30°C in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
